What are some good websites to find pets to adopt other than petfinder?

Question by ricky: What are some good websites to find pets to adopt other than petfinder?
I am in the rochester area and am possibly looking for a dog to adopt and haven’t found anything on petfinder yet. Any help is appreciated.

PLEASE look at your local humane society. Other dogs need room there too, and you may be saving a life, because if a dog is not adopted, they will kill it, and a perfectly good pet may be killed.

    Try craigslist.
    I got all 3 of my bunnies there!

    look on google for your local shelter there are many puppies or pets waiting for a nice and warm home.

    Try a sight called kijiji.com it list everything in every state.I have always had very good luck and Iam sure you will to.The pet are list newest first ,list price and state for each pet.Good luck I have got all 3 of mine on there.I live in Nebraska.
