They don't personally adopt them out...they connect you with the agencies who DO. And...If it's NOT difficult to get a pet...it's not a reputable organization!. They want to make sure that YOU'RE a responsible pet owner as well...which indicates that they actually care for and about the animals they adopt out, and therefore...you'll be getting a pet that's been treated well. I just got my pup from Petfinder three months ago...the "stuff" I had to go through was well worth it. Petfinder deals with hundreds of adoption agencies.
