Not a cross most poodle crosses are given up because they have the coat of the other parent and do shed. Started with petfinder when I was looking for a dog/pup in general 2 1/2 years ago. Then I started on a specific breed. For now I am going with a breeder but the next of the similar breed will be from one of the rescues that uses petfinder. Adopt a poodle then. Not a cross most poodle crosses are given up because they have the coat of the other parent and do shed.

I didn't care about the breed, but my husband wanted another poodle, so we found one we are adopting on Saturday. He is in a Rescue that's about four hours away. I didn't care if it was a purebred or mutt. Maybe you need to expand your search horizons and/or not be so specific about a particular breed. They are going to be spayed or neutered, so it really doesn't matter if you have a purebred or a mutt from a shelter. Being as these dogs will not be bred, it doesn't matter if they have flaws. My second dog came from a shelter. My third one was a puppy mill mama that was rescued by the guy that gave her to us.
